Because the Film, Television and Entertainment Rebate Fund has limited funding, applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Applications must be submitted before beginning the Qualified Production Activity or Qualified Infrastructure Project in the District of Columbia. Applications must be complete, and a signature is required.

While it is understood that start dates may change, the APPLICANT MUST be scheduled to begin verifiable production activity or infrastructure construction in the District during the same fiscal year as the date on the Qualifying Project Letter, unless the Applicant is granted an “Extension Waiver” from the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music & Entertainment.
